June: Army Heritage Month
The U.S. Army Reserve celebrates the U.S. Army birthday on June 14, marking the date in 1775 when the Second Continental Congress established the Continental Army and subsequently appointed George Washington as general and commander in chief of the new force. Thank you to all who have served in our Army and who have served our nation.
Flag Day
Flag Day is a holiday celebrated on June 14 in the United States. It commemorates the adoption of the flag of the United States on June 14, 1777 by resolution of the Second Continental Congress.

Space Force Birthday
The U.S. Space Force was established December 20, 2019, with the signing of the National Defense Authorization Act, creating the first new military force since 1947, making it the sixth branch of the Armed Forces.
National Guard Birthday
We recognize December 13 as the birthday of the National Guard. On this date in 1636, the first militia regiments in North America organized in Massachusetts. Based upon an order of the Massachusetts Bay Colony's General Court, the colony's militia was organized into three permanent regiments to defend the colony better.
Veteran's Day
Veterans Day is a federal holiday in the United States that honors all veterans, living and deceased, who have served in the military. It's a day to express gratitude for their service and sacrifices, and to recognize their contributions to national security. It's also a time to reflect on the challenges veterans may face when returning home.
Marine Corps Birthday
The United States Marine Corps was established on November 10, 1775, to augment naval forces in the Revolutionary War.
National Veterans & Military Families Month
